Kelly Ripken Creates Designer Pillow to Help Commemorate Hall of Fame Induction

Baltimore, MD – Designed By Kelly, the Baltimore-based company owned and operated by Kelly Geer Ripken, today announced it has created a special commemorative designer throw pillow celebrating her husband’s induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.  Cal Ripken will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on July 29.

Ripken established Designed By Kelly in 2005 as an outlet for her passion for interior design and creative gift giving.  Designed By Kelly has spearheaded several projects at different homes as well as large scale themed events.

This most recent project is being done in collaboration with California-based Catstudio.  It is an embroidered throw pillow celebrating Cal’s career and his induction into the Hall of Fame.

The throw pillows will be officially launched July 23rd on QVC, between 9pm – 10pm as Kelly will make a guest appearance and join her husband to promote the new product. Following that appearance they will be available at Hunt Valley’s Greetings and Readings as well as other fine gift stores.  In addition, the Ripken commemorative throw pillow will be available for purchase on  www.DesignedByKelly.net and www.IroncladAuthentics.com.  The hand-stitched pillows will retail for $235.00 and the machine stitched pillows will sell for $135.00.
